A Weekend of Weddings, Inspiration & Connection.

This weekend, Sadie Elizabeth Weddings had the pleasure of attending the Fraser Hart Wedding Fair. And what a beautiful and inspiring event it was…

From the moment the doors opened, the atmosphere was filled with excitement, creativity and the unmistakable buzz that comes with wedding planning. It was such a joy to meet so many lovely couples at all different stages of their wedding journey, each with their own unique ideas, styles, and visions for their special day.

One of the most rewarding parts of the weekend was having the opportunity to speak with engaged couples about their plans and help offer guidance, reassurance, and inspiration. Wedding planning can feel overwhelming at times, so being able to chat about timelines, styling ideas, coordination and what they would need to create their dream wedding day was incredibly meaningful to me.

The wedding fair was also a fantastic networking opportunity and a wonderful reminder of how talented and supportive the wedding industry community truly is. It was amazing to connect with so many passionate suppliers, each bringing their own expertise to help create unforgettable wedding showcases.

The first thing you noticed when entering the wedding fair was the amazing voice of Everay.

The Torquay based wedding singer was absolutely incredible and brought such a beautiful atmosphere to the event. Her voice was stunning from start to finish, performing timeless classics including Wonderwall, Hallelujah, A Thousand Years and Shallow with so much emotion and elegance.

Although she performed solo on this occasion, she also has her own live band available for larger events and weddings, which makes her such a versatile and talented supplier. She created such a lovely ambience throughout the day and was a real highlight for so many guests.

One of the standout displays at the wedding fair was created by Fancy Pants Cakes & Bakes, whose table looked delicious from every angle.

Their two-tier cakes were decorated so delicately and instantly caught the attention of guests walking past. One cake topped with fresh berries added such a romantic, modern touch, while the flower-shaped cupcakes were both creative and beautifully detailed. Everything looked almost too pretty to eat and really showcased the talent, artistry and care that goes into their work.

Fraser Hart also made the experience feel extra special for guests with their thoughtful touches throughout the event. Visitors were welcomed with lovely goodie bags filled with treats and information from suppliers, alongside glasses of prosecco and Lindt chocolates that added such a relaxed and luxurious atmosphere to the day.

Floral Heart Arch by My Special Day Decor

Another eye-catching display at the wedding fair was the stunning floral heart arch and elegant white balloon arch created by My Special Day Decor, based in Plymouth.

The heart arch, covered in beautiful faux pink roses, made the perfect romantic backdrop and instantly drew attention.

Both displays added a soft feel and created the perfect photo opportunity for couples looking for inspiration. Their styling truly helped bring the wedding fair to life and showcased how impactful thoughtful dΓ©cor can be at any wedding celebration.

A beautiful bridal look was also showcased at the fair, thanks to the collaboration of several incredibly experienced suppliers.

My talented friend and makeup artist Deanne created a flawless, glowing makeup look for the model using products by MAC. She explained her techniques and the types of products she used as she went, so that any budget conscious brides watching could follow along by themselves. The model’s hair was beautifully styled by All About The Bride, complementing the overall look so elegantly. To complete the transformation, the model wore a stunning ElysΓ©e gown supplied by The Ivory Lounge Plymouth, which brought everything together perfectly and gave guests plenty of bridal inspiration thoughout the event.

From stunning floral displays and beautifully styled tables to talented photographers, bridal specialists and the gorgeous singer, every supplier showcased such incredible attention to detail and passion for their craft. Seeing so much creativity under one roof was genuinely inspiring.

Events like these are such an important part of the wedding industry because they allow couples to meet suppliers face-to-face, build rapport, gather ideas and begin building the dream team that will help bring their wedding vision to life.

A huge thank you to the staff at Fraser Hart Plymouth for inviting me and for hosting such a lovely event. And also a thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat with Sadie Elizabeth Weddings over the weekend. Your excitement, ideas, and kind conversations made the experience so special.

I’m already looking forward to future wedding fairs, meeting more wonderful couples and continuing to build beautiful connections within this amazing industry.

If we met over the weekend and would like to continue chatting about your wedding plans,

I would absolutely love to hear from you.

Until the next chapter,
